It’s not officially Spring. But there are early signs – buds, blossoms, and birds – that it’s here. Even when the temperature drops and cold winds blow, if you’re paying attention, you see the unmistakable signs of Spring blossoming.
Your spiritual life is also blossoming.
The spirit within you, what we call the Wisdom Heart consciousness, is opening up and blossoming in your life. But if you’re not attuned to the inner signs, you won’t celebrate that which is emerging. Through meditative awareness you learn to notice and celebrate the movement of awakening.
This movement of awakening functions individually and collectively.
The activity of the Wisdom Heart is alive within you and also all of life. Recently – on March 10, 2012 – we invited people in our local community to come together in order to the Wisdom Heart consciousness – in order to celebrate and cooperate with that which is blossoming through us.
This is your invitation to join in that process of meditative discernment.

So you can more fully live and embody the creativity, beauty, and joy that is your true life. So you can open to and integrate the blessings of the Wisdom Heart consciousness and thus . . . be a blessing to all you meet.

A little background:
The Wisdom Heart teachings distill and focus a 5,000 year old spiritual system (called Kriya Yoga) into a form that works for 21st century people. We’ve been engaged in committed practice of this method since 1972. We’re ordained swamis in the Kriya lineage.
We’ve tested the practice in real life.
We’ve applied the practices and principles personally, in our relationship, with our kids, and in our businesses. In the process, we discovered how to preserve the potency of the original transmission – while purifying out the cultural artifacts that are extraneous.
The result is a teaching that is as spiritual as it is down-to-earth.
The Wisdom Heart Community is ready to enter a new stage of development.
Since the launching of our website in 2011, four thousand people have subscribed to the Wisdom Heart newsletter and more join each day. Locally our community is also expanding.
When we reflect on this response, we’re grateful.

We recently invited members of our local community to a Day of Listening and Attuning.
We want to share the results of this process with you and invite your participation.
What follows is a review of the day – designed to bring you into the process. This isn’t just a “report”. It’s an invitation for you to actively engage with us in creating the future of the Wisdom Heart community.
Our Context: The Wisdom Heart from before the Big Bang to this moment
This presentation traces the journey of the Spirit through time and space from the inception of the created universe up to this moment.

Attunement via images: Creating Living Maps
Working in groups of 3 or 4, we collaboratively attuned to the Wisdom Heart asking:
“What is the Wisdom Heart consciousness seeking to realize and become through us?”
We used magazine images to crystallize the inner vision in the form of a Living Map – a symbolic collage.

Creating Living Maps:
The Living Maps: “I am the One who . . . “
Each Living Map is a reflection of that group’s attunement to the Wisdom Heart consciousness. After creating their Map each person meditated on the images that were most powerful and meaningful to them.
Then, we each allowed the images to speak through us in the form of “I am the One who . . . “ statements.
Here are the Living Maps and the associated “I am the One who . . .” statements.
I am the One who:
Is at home in the world. Embodies all that is Beautiful. Shines so brightly in the light and in the darkness. Who holds the space for all beings to raise their joyful voices.
Will support, comfort, and serve you on your path. Stands in the world with an open heart. Celebrates life. Trusts in the flow of life. Fits with others. Walks a path ever-seeking, ever-growing, ever-expanding.
I am the One who:
Is total Joy and the expression of Ecstasy. Is open to share, willing to receive, work together, give, support, love, share space of the Universe.
Enjoys Freedom. Is filled with Grace. Sees the Goodness in All. Beyond words. Feels and knows the truth. Walks the path with an open heart.
I am the community that generates sacred space for those on the Path towards Enlightenment.
I am the One who:
Loves and serves the earth. Bows in gratitude. Opens to the Holy in every breath.
Blossoms as every being. Celebrates the journey step-by-step. Fills space with song.
Blossoms with all life. Is free. Enlightens and is enlightened by others. Bows and serves life. Grows even in the mud. I am the Still One.
I am the One who:
Draws you into full flight. Keeps it simple, is willing to be naive & embrace simplicity.
Is beautiful mind; troubled mind; goodness apple; fickle fox; elephant moon; stretching peanut; connection itself. Always has fun.
I am the One who stretches body, mind, & heart. Is the True Friend.
I am the Soundless One, the Fierce All-Penetrating, Intelligence. I am the One who Takes Delight.
I am the One who:
Is filled with joy. Gives life, creating and sustaining. Is unfolding in every way. Is One.
Trusts in the blessed mystery of life. Delights in the splendor of earth and the joy of connection. Experiences through you.
I am the one sending blessings from foreign places.
I am the One who:
Opens the heart. Shares the wisdom tradition. Connects the valleys. Is nourished by the innocent. Provides space for the Spirit. Supports the way.
Connects and reaches and climbs so that I might more fully know myself. Stays rooted and grounded and yet expands and evolves.
