Why meditate?

The research on the benefits of meditation continues to reinforce the ways that this timeless practice can make your life, brain, emotions, blood pressure, cholesterol, decision making, sex life, communication better.

But, let’s not lose track of the heart of the matter

All these benefits arise not through striving to improve – but through letting go of outmoded and self-limiting patterns of identity. Meditation isn’t a self-improvement practice – even though many areas of your life will improve when you practice.

Meditation is a waking-up-from-false-self-images practice. (Note: this includes negative AND positive self images). You’re not a self-image. You’re the Radiance.

Question:

What helps you let go of self-limiting identities?

What helps you remember the Radiance?
